By using the Tasmi iOS app or this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

Tasmi is a Quran memorization companion. It helps you organize personal memorization and review.

Tasmi is not a religious authority. It does not replace teachers, scholars, or formal ijazah. The app is a tool to support your practice, not a substitute for traditional learning.

Your account

Authentication is provided by Quran Foundation. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for activity that takes place under your account.

Acceptable use

• Use Tasmi respectfully and personally.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer the app, abuse the backend, or interfere with the service for other users.
• Do not use the service for unlawful purposes.

Content ownership

The Qur’anic text, translations, audio recitations, and tafsir made available through Tasmi are provided through Quran Foundation. All rights to that content belong to their respective owners.

Your personal memorization data — the portions you choose to work on, your progress, your notes — belongs to you.

Disclaimer

The service is provided “as-is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from defects.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
